Glencoe Hideaway is an attractive traditional semi detached crofter's cottage full of character and charm with all mod cons in a fantastic location for either an active or a relaxing break in Scotlands most famous of Glens.

With magnificent views directly over Loch Leven, Mamores and Pap of Glencoe, Glencoe Hideaway dating form 1850's is a couple of minutes walk from Glencoe village and 7 minutes walk from Ballachulish and 15 miles South of Fort William.

A warm welcome awaits you with a pint of milk, tea and coffee and fire set ready to light, real home from home in this cosy character cottage.

ACCOMMODATION

Sleeping 4-6 guests the property features traditional slate roof with slate and wooden floors throughout and deep slate silled windows. The cottage is very cosy heated by electric storage heaters included in the hire.  There is private off street parking with a side gate into large enclosed garden. Dog welcome by arrangement .

GROUND FLOOR

Entry through a porch well racked for coats and boots and heated so can be used as a drying room. Very handy for those wet days !Two ground floor bedrooms, the double bedroom is very cosy with a slate floor. The twin bedroom is wooden floored with an open beamed ceiling and a staircase leading to a mezzanine level with a double matress on the floor for extra sleeping . Both bedrooms are cosy and well presented with plenty of storage , bedside cupboards, chests of drawers, and wardrobes . From the hallway is a beautiful fully tiled shower room with electric shower and heated towel rail. The  kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances including a dishwasher is open plan to a beamed ceiling sitting/dining room with TV, CD/Radio, solid fuel burner with attractive slate surrounded fireplace with easy chairs; perfect for sitting in front of the fire after a full day on the hills, with beautiful oak flooring throughout. The back door gives access to a large enclosed garden with cycle storage , BBQ and patio furniture.

FIRST FLOOR

A short staircase leads to the first floor Lounge which gives the best views of the Loch. This is small  but comfortable and cosy with flat screen digital freeview TV/DVD and a double sofa bed for extra sleeping if required . There is a doorway leading to steps down into the garden.

Open all year rates from £300.00 - £600.00 per week inclusive of power , bed linen and towels. Short breaks available off peak. Payment by cheque , BACS or Paypal .
