A walk through the glen

Readers of Scottish weekend newspaper the Sunday Herald have been invited to visit Glencoe and enjoy a "Wild Weekend".
Hillwalking journalist and TV presenter Cameron McNeish suggested a short walk through the famous glen in the article printed last weekend. Read the article on this link here.
Pictured is one of the sections of new footpath network that is gradually growing throught the Glencoe & Loch Leven area, giving much better access for all, and helping to link communities.
Although the article suggests parking at the Old National Trust Visitor Centre car park close to Clachaig Inn, it is hoped that in time the Glencoe Orbital Path will link this section with Glencoe village and onwards towards Ballachulish.
