With plenty of bright sunny days recently there's a definite feeling of Spring in the air. New growth is coming through, the wild flowers are beginning to appear and, as Vicki at Glencoe Cottages reports, the first of the buttlerflies are appearing too.
The first Orangetip Butterfly of the year, fresh and bright having just hatched, was spotted feeding on the bluebells this morning. A Peacock butterfly hovered around the dandelions. Spring seems to have arrived at last.

Here a list of the other Butterflies we have here at Torren, Glencoe, apart from the Small Mountain Ringlet which we have seen when on a hill walk as they only live at over 700 ft.
