Pre-65 Trial Kinlochleven

Each year, at the beginning of May, Kinlochleven literally buzzes with the sound of bikes as the Pre 65 Motorbike Trials arrive for a weekend in the village. A pre-cursor to the bigger Scottish Six Day Trials based in Fort William, the Pre 65's marks the beginning of a week of trials bikes taking on the Lochaber countryside.
This year the weather stayed bright and sunny, making the event an even better spectator sport than usual.
Davy Morewood (pictured) was declared the overall winner in 2012. Many thanks to Allan Stewart of Gingersnaps Photography who was on hand to capture the action.
Here's hoing that the glorious weather holds for the rest of the week as the bikes continue to battle it out in the furthest corners of Lochaber's rugged countryside.
