Deer Stalking Season Commences

Today is the first day of the Scottish deer stalking season. The hillphone service is up and running to provide upto date information on the stalking dates for 12 different regions within the Highlands. Hillwalkers should be using this information when planning their route.
The phone system is being complemented with a pilot website which will be operations from 1st August. As soon as this is operational, information will be available on Walkhighlands.
The Hillphone website has details of the areas where deer stalking will be taking place and the relevant phone numbers.
