2 Awards for Glencoe inn

Popular Glencoe hostelry, Clachaig Inn, came up trumps not once, but twice at the recent 2011 Scottish Hotel Awards winning both a Design Medal for their recent bedroom refurbishment and a Commendation for Hospitality and Welcome.
Clachaig made the most of the quieter pre-Christmas trading period to tackle the 4 week long refurbishment project.
Director Ed Daynes said, "We wanted to do something a little special with some of the rooms in the older part of our building. We had already carried out an extensive refurbishment of all the inn's rooms over recent years, but felt that it was time to refresh the decor."
"We were very pleased with the results of the project, but winning a Design Medal at the Scottish Hotel Awards is the icing on the cake. And to receive recognition for the hard work put in by our staff at the same time is just fantastic"
Clachaig Inn is located in the heart of Glencoe, just by the river on the old village road.
