Glencoe Mountain Resort

Glencoe Mountain Resort is Scotland’s original snowsports destination, the first ski lift was built in 1956. We now have 7 lifts and 19 pistes to suit every level of skier and boarder. From the gentle beginner slopes on the plateau to the steepest and longest slopes in Scotland, Glencoe Mountain Resort has an incredible variety of terrain. Glencoe Mountain Resort also has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world including Buchaille Etive Mor, the Mamores and on a clear day all the way to Ben Nevis. As well as our great winter activities there are also plenty of exciting things to do in summer at Glencoe Mountain Resort from biking to wildlife watching or just enjoyed some great home cooked food from our café.

SUMMER

Glencoe Mountain Resort has lots to offer in summer too! With extensive bike trails suitable for gentle rides through to adrenalin filled DH trails we have something to suit every kind of rider.  The access chairlift runs in summer and is fitted with bike carriers so you can explore the plateau trails or if you like something a little wilder give our grade black DH tracks a go. Glencoe Mountain Resort has a brand new fleet of hire bikes from KONA so whether you want to take a gentle ride along the West Highland Way or take on our DH track we have bikes to suit; children’s bikes are also available for the perfect family outing.

Our log cabin café offer great home-cooked food and a variety of cakes and biscuits, we also have a fully licensed bar so you can relax and enjoy a refreshing drink while admiring the fantastic view from our panoramic windows.

There are plenty of other activities to do at Glencoe Mountain Resort in summer; our chairlift allows easy access to the mountain for hiking, climbing and paragliding.  The area is renowned for its scenery and wildlife and the chairlift gets you high above the valley and into the tranquillity of the mountains effortlessly. If you fancy trying something a little different we also run Archery classes!  We are also conveniently situated next to the West Highland Way so we are the perfect start point for walking to nearby Kinlochleven, Glencoe and Bridge of Orchy or as a meeting point for anyone brave enough to be doing the whole route.
